There has been a disturbance in the force of our Blogosphere with the departure of our dear Pattie Kleinke. For those of you who may not know, Pattie was TW, The Woman, at Cathy Keisha’s (CK the kitty) blog, Stunning Keisha. It was indeed an honor to have met Pattie in person and share some time with her at several blogging conferences.
Pattie was a wonderful advocate for kitties and Fred, aka Pop, has asked that in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to a TNR or Rescue in her name. I will tell you that one of her favorites was The Lucky Cat Rescue in Weehawken, NJ.
Rest in Peace Pattie, you touched so many of us.
UPDATE: The many #nipclub anipals on X (formerly known as Twitter) are doing a fundraising for Pattie’s favorite rescue Charity which I mentioned above. CK (Cathy Keisha) was a long time D.J. for #nipclub events, spinning favorite tunes at #NipClub events for all to enjoy. A couple of sets on October 28th will be dedicated to Pattie. Give if you can, share if you can’t please.
I was lucky enough to meet Pattie a couple of times at Blog paws. As someone above said, she was quieter than you would expect. She would get over it though and her wit and humor would shine through. I also knew her as a cat blogger and Twitter sensation
George and I miss Pattie.
My heart goes out to Fred (Pops) and CK the kitty. May they be blessed.
I knew Cathy Keisha, but not the lovely woman behind her I am very sorry for Pattie’s loss, and for the difficult time both Fred and Cathy Keisha are now experiencing.
My belief is that the love lasts and dwells in our hearts forever.
Pattie and CK made a difference, the brightened the world with their wit and fought the corner for ferals.
I was lucky enough to have met Pattie in person a few times (at BlogPaws conferences). You would be surprised that in person she was much more quiet than you would expect. We also used to argue about her beloved Yankees. She had the kindest heart, the snarkiest wit and a huge talent for writing. Now she is with her beloved Aunt, as others have said, I am so worried about “Pops” and CK.
So deeply sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman. Rest in Peace beautiful Soul✨
Wishing Pop and CK comfort and peace during this very dark time. Soft Pawkisses🐾😽💞
We first met Pattie, CK, and Pop through blogging, and then were blessed to also become friends in real life. What a devastating loss this is. Sending love and light to Fred and CK.
Dear Pattie, you leave behind a legacy of compassion, humor, and kindness, and we will never forget you.
We are remembering Pattie on our Sunday Selfies blog hop on the 8th. I feel privileged to have met her in 2015 at the Blog Paws Conference in Nashville. She was very talented and brought CK to life! She will be missed and remembered always. Condolences to Fred (Pop) and Cathy Keisha.
I am very sorry to learn of this wonderful ladies’ passing
#nipclub is donating to Pattie’s favorite rescue in her honor. Find us on twitter for info.
Twitter will be a different place without Stunning Keisha.
Admin, Please feel free to delete if you find this inappropriate.
So sorry to hear this. This is so very sad.
Love to Fred and CK.
Rest in Peace, Pattie xx
Such sad news and a tremendous loss. Pattie’s wit, talents with music, art, and blogging will be remembered by so many. Sending purrs to Fred and CK.
We are so sorry to read this ! We send purrayers to Pop and CK and all who loved TW – including those if us who only knew her through CK’s blog.
I’m so sad to hear of this. I will miss her humor, her artwork, her great love for cats … she will be so missed. My heart goes out to all her friends and family.
I am so sad to hear this news. Pattie fought a long and courageous battle and will be greatly missed by all her friends from the internet and in person. Rest in peace dear lady. My love to Fred and CK.
Fred, God’s strength to you during this most
difficult time💔
Patti, while you were correct about the subject
of our last email, the flip side of that coin is, it
brought us together as friends, even if it was
only through “internet”. Here’s to all the mustard
you can eat, take out, cannoli, “brownies”. Here’s
to flower powered buses, long loose dresses,
and boho’s; I’ll wear my tied dyed ones in your
honor, you set yours free to float away. Here’s to
60’s music and PEACE ☮️, I know you are there now.
You were and always will be a light in my life also;
one that will never be dimmed. I love you ~~~~ 💙💚💔
Laura
We were so saddened when this was posted on CK’s profile on FB. I just don’t have any words. Pattie was such a huge part of the CB for so very long.
I am very saddened by Pattie’s passing and I am still trying to process it. My love to Fred and to Cathy Keisha always. And Pattie, I will always remember you and CK. Always.
I did not know Pattie well; however, from I have read I think I can use her name to describe her kindness.
